I GOT STARTED SHOOTING WITH A $100 CAMERA AT A PAWN SHOP.

I was working unfilling job after unfilling job—putting clothes away from the dressing rooms in department stores to being a low-paid supervisor at a burrito joint to being endlessly stressed about trying to meet quotas in a sales position.

I knew this wasn’t what I wanted to do, and I’ve always wanted to tap into my creativity.

So, I purchased my first camera, and it changed everything.

I taught myself to capture photos through trial-and-error before attaching myself to the hip of any wedding photographer who would let me learn from them.

I loved the challenge of learning how to rock different light situations on wedding days, how to run a business with the mindset of an entrepreneur and not just a photographer, and develop so many relationships with couples and other wedding pros across North Carolina,

I’m obsessed with the fact that I get to capture moments you’ll cherish forever on a regular basis and do something that fills me with endless joy and passion.
